Juice Watch app data
Juice Watch does not require an account. Battery readings and notification settings are used on your devices to provide the app’s features. Ganotis Holdings, Inc. does not operate a server that stores your personal battery history.
iCloud battery sharing
When you have access to Juice Watch and are signed into iCloud, the iPhone app automatically saves the latest available iPhone and paired Apple Watch battery readings in your private iCloud database. This includes battery levels, available charging information, reading timestamps, Watch pairing status, and random identifiers created by the app to distinguish devices and updates. Juice Watch on an iPad signed into the same iCloud account can read this information. These battery records are stored with Apple, not on servers operated by Ganotis Holdings, Inc. Disconnecting an iPad stops that iPad from receiving readings; it does not stop the iPhone from updating iCloud or delete the iCloud records.
App analytics
Juice Watch may collect aggregated information about app configuration and feature use to understand which settings and complications are useful. This information is not intended to identify you.
Expired-trial return measurement
If you open the iPhone app after an annual subscription or its free trial has expired and you no longer have access, Juice Watch may send that subscription’s Apple-signed transaction, with the app version and build, to our server, at most once a day. The signed transaction includes App Store details of that purchase, such as its identifiers, dates, price, and App Store country or region. We verify Apple’s signature and check the subscription history our server receives from Apple. We save a return record only when the free trial has expired and the subscription has never had a paid transaction. We do not keep the signed transaction after these checks.
To understand how often people return after a trial expires, we store a pseudonymous subscription reference (a keyed one-way hash of the subscription’s original transaction identifier), the UTC return date, the app version and build, the App Store country or region of the transaction that began the trial, and an approximate time since expiry in a separate measurement database. We delete these records automatically 90 days after the return date. Because we hold the key, we can link this reference to subscription history in our systems. We use these records to measure returning use and evaluate possible subscription offers, not for third-party advertising or tracking across other companies’ services. For every measurement request, including ones that do not qualify, we also store a keyed one-way fingerprint of the request’s network address for up to three days to limit abuse; it is not stored with return records. After deletion, these records and fingerprints may remain in Cloudflare’s recovery history for up to 30 additional days. This measurement does not send battery readings. There is no in-app setting to turn it off; for questions or requests, email [email protected].
Crash reporting
Juice Watch uses Sentry for crash reporting and diagnostics. Crash reports may include technical information such as the app version, operating system version, device model, and details about the error. We do not intentionally include personal information in crash reports.
Website data
The Juice Watch website uses Google Analytics to measure page views and App Store link interactions. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to distinguish visits. Advertising storage, ad personalization, advertising user data, and Google Signals are disabled. Standard server logs may also be processed by the hosting provider for security and reliable delivery of the site.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. Ganotis Holdings, Inc. does not receive your payment card information. Apple provides transaction status needed to unlock purchased features. Apple also sends our server App Store notifications about subscription changes, such as trials, renewals, and refunds, which we store as subscription history.
Children
Juice Watch is not directed toward collecting information from children, and the app does not request personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, website, or service providers change. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
